20th edition of the sailing regatta “Cor Caroli”

BURGAS – SAINT VLAS – VARNA 13-14.08.2020

The yacht “Espresso Martini” with skipper Pavlin Nadvorni won the “Blue Ribbon” prize in the 20th edition of the sailing regatta “Cor Caroli”. The prize is awarded to the crew who quickly covered the distance in all races in real time. 39 boats from Bulgaria and Ukraine took part in the attractive competition.

From the start of the first race, the crews undertook risky maneuvers and the boats passed inches apart. The great experience of most of the skippers prevent accidents and damage to the hulls of vessels.

In regatta “Cor Caroli” participated boat hull length from 7 to 15 m.

In the final stage, the crews started in two divisions – in the first were the fastest boats, and in the second all the others.

The good weather during the four racing days gave the crews the opportunity to show their full potential of skills in the water.

The adrenaline did not relax the competitors until the final, when the best sailors confirmed their victories in the individual classes.

The competition was held on the route Burgas – Saint Vlas and the final in Varna.
