Sveti Vlas Futures from June 6 to 9 was the first Beach Pro Tour beach volleyball tournament in Bulgaria. The tournament was held under the auspices of Volleyball World, the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) and the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation (BFV) and was organized by Dinevi Group and NewBoyana Film Studios. Partners of the tournament were Flair, SAMSUNG, NUII, Nova Sport, White Waters, BTA, FilmForge, as well as the Municipalities of Nessebar, Burgas and Byala and Marina Dinevi Marina.

It is expected that a Futures tournament will be added in Sofia as well
Sveti Vlas will host the Futures tournament from the Beach Pro Tour world beach volleyball circuit again next year, announced the organizers from Dinevi Group and NewBoyana Film Studios. It is even expected that another tournament of the same category will be added in Sofia.
Our Black Sea resort welcomed Bulgaria’s first tournament from the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour circuit from June 6 to 9 this year, and the event was a complete success, both from an organizational point of view and as a level of beach volleyball, at which sports lovers us they had the opportunity to enjoy. The guests of the event from all over the world were also extremely satisfied with the tournament and highly impressed by the conditions offered by Saint Vlas and the picturesque Venid Beach next to the marina Dinevi Marina.
“First I would like to congratulate the winners of this fantastic event! They fought off incredibly talented competition,” said Yariv Lerner of NewBoyana Film Studios. “We had the fortunate opportunity to host the tournament in such a world-class resort and plan to return to Saint Vlas next year as well as announce another Futures tournament in Sofia.”

We are looking forward to the next competition next year, where we will show an even higher standard and deservedly consolidate Bulgaria and Saint Vlas on the map of international beach volleyball.”
We remind you that the winners of the first edition of the Futures tournament in Sveti Vlas were the Americans Carly Kahn & Madeline Anderson in the women’s category and the Austrians Christoph Dressler & Maximilian Trummer in the men’s category. The first Bulgarian victories in the history of the Beach Pro Tour were recorded by Irena Mishonova & Desislava Nikolova and Darina Kindova & Eva Petrova, with which they ranked among the best 12 in the women’s race.
“Although our Bulgarian representatives did not get very far in the competition, I saw a lot of potential and sportsmanship in them,” Lerner added. “And I know that with a little more commitment to the sport and the off-season, they will be a force to be reckoned with next year.”
