Among the Bulgarian winners of the Blue Flag certificate are the beaches of Sveti Vlas-central, Saint Vlas-new beach, Saint Vlas-East and the Marina Dinevi yacht port.
Blue Flag – The program unites the tourist and environmental sectors at local and national level. It encourages clean and safe beaches and yacht ports and educates the entire community to protect the environment along the coast, contributing both with its voluntary participation in environmental initiatives and with its daily behavior. The program is very well received in the country and the Blue Flag certificate has been conferred on the best beaches and marinas for their successful green management every year since 1995. The Blue Flag is awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education, a non-governmental organization that includes national organizations from 49 countries in Europe, America, Africa, Oceania and the Caribbean.

The fourth edition of the Sveti Vlas Film Fest has established itself as a summer cultural highlight on the Black Sea coast, combining cinema, style, and the sea. With a strong focus on Bulgarian cinema, the festival offered a rich selection of current and widely discussed films, starting with the impactful “Without Wings” and concluding with top awards for “The Herd” and “Gundi”.

The first “INSPIRO Summer School for Health” in Sveti Vlas brought together leading Bulgarian doctors and caring parents, united by a common mission – supporting children’s health through prevention, natural healing, and a balanced lifestyle.
During the ceremony, the Ambassador of Poland to Bulgaria, Maciej Szymański, symbolically handed over the EU Council presidency to the Ambassador of Denmark, Flemming Stender. As of July 1, Denmark will assume the presidency for the next six months.
Ambassador Szymański described the concluded Polish presidency as a challenging but successful period for Europe.
