“Beach Volleyball Tournament – Marina Dinevi” – June 17/18/19, 2022 – Venid Beach, Sveti Vlas

The first ever tournament of the National Beach Volleyball Circuit, carrying points for the FIVB world ranking, was held between 17-19.06.2022 in Sveti Vlas. The race by the sea also provided the biggest prize fund of any National Circuit race this summer – €10,000, split proportionally between women and men depending on the pairs registered.
The main organizer of the competition is the film producer Yariv Lerner and Nu Boyana Film Studios, of which he is the executive director. Lerner, himself a former professional beach volleyball player in the USA, has become popular among sports circles in Bulgaria as a co-organizer of the many strong international tournaments in Pancharevo over the past two years.
The big sporting event was hosted by the beautiful marina Dinevi Marina, whose name is also the tournament itself, and the excellent mood of all participants and fans was contributed by the available restaurants, bars, relaxation areas and accommodation options, offering unforgettable sea views and experiences
he competition was held under the official FIVB Beach Volleyball Rules, officiated by official tournament referees under the umbrella of BFVolleyball.
Desislava Nikolova & Irena Mishonova triumphed as winners for the second time in a row in this year’s National Beach Volleyball Circuit.The renowned Sofia tandem won the trophy at the tournament that ended in Saint Vlas. Along with the cup, Nikolova & Mishonova also received four thousand BGN from the prize fund.
Another Bulgarian couple – Stefani Kyoseva & Simona Nikolova, congratulated themselves with the silver medals, and the bronze went to the USA with the third place finishers Jade Reiss & Lydia Smith.
In the men’s category, the newly formed tandem Dimitar Dimitrov & Dimitar Kalchev became the big winner. Without a single loss in the three days of the competition, Dimitrov & Kalchev grabbed the cup, the gold medals and four thousand BGN from the prize fund.
The most experienced couple in the tournament – Milen Stoyanov & Miroslav Gradinarov, reached the silver medals and a prize of three thousand, and Hristo Kolev and Georgi Bratoev took two thousand for their third place.
